IRS VITA site
Free, Trusted Tax Preparation
ADH Financial Empowerment Initiative is an approved IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance site. Through the VITA program, trained volunteers provide free income-tax preparation for eligible individuals and families.
Our goal is to help taxpayers file accurate federal, Michigan, and City of Detroit tax returns while identifying the credits and deductions for which they may qualify.
Appointments for the upcoming tax-filing season will be announced soon.

Helping Teen Parents Move Forward
Transportation can be a major barrier for teen parents working to complete school, maintain employment, attend appointments, and care for their children.
Essentials First helps teen parents navigate the process of obtaining a driver’s license. The program connects participants with driver education, testing support, financial assistance, transportation-related resources, and encouragement as they work toward greater independence and family stability.
Donations made through this link support the Essentials First driver’s-license program for teen parents.
